Make it easier
Begin with the simpler straight and curved lines. Offer a thicker marker or crayon that is easier for your child to hold and encourage slow, controlled movements.
Your child can also trace the paths with their finger before using a drawing tool.
Make it harder
Progress to patterns containing sharper turns, smaller movements and more detailed shapes. Encourage your child to remain close to the lines and complete each path using a continuous movement where appropriate.
For reusable practice, laminate the pages or place them inside a plastic sleeve and use a whiteboard marker.
